As most of you may know, Karen Teel retired
from her private practice on October 31, 2005.
As Karen herself has said, this is a bitter sweet
time for her. Her patients will surely miss her
and I know we will all miss working with
Karen on a regular basis.

As she gets ready to embark on the next phase of her life, the Physician Alliance
Board thought it appropriate that we, along with Children’s Hospital of Austin,
honor Karen and all that she has done for the children of Central Texas in the past
30 plus years. The celebration was a great success!! Some of the photos from the
